You take a deep breath and walk through the door. You’re back in the place where you spent most of your childhood, and it’s as though you never left. The smells are familiar, but somehow stronger. It’s almost like they’ve been waiting for you to come home again. A wave of nostalgia washes over you as you wander from room to room, taking in all the sights and sounds that have shaped your life.

And then it hits: “What am I doing here?” “I’m just visiting,” is what everyone tells me when I ask them why they came back – even if it’s their fifth or sixth time being there this year! Yet every time I ask myself the same question, my answer is an unequivocal “I’m home.” It’s not that I don’t enjoy my new life. It just feels empty, like it doesn’t really matter without the people who shaped me into the person I am today.

They’re still here on this island and now they’ve welcomed me back too – even though technically I never left at all. After realizing that no amount of nostalgia can change your mind about where you belong in the world, there are a few things to keep in mind for when you return: – You have more power than ever before; use it wisely! Remember what happened last time? Be careful not to put yourself or others in danger by being impulsive with your decisions.
