The main factors determining the salary for a business analyst are the company size and industry type. India :

The average yearly income for a business analyst in India is 7.0 Lakhs, with salaries ranging from 3.0 Lakhs to 15.0 Lakhs. Salary projections are based on business analysts’ 80.7k salaries.

United States:

The average yearly income for a business analyst in the United States is $87,700, which is $45.3 per hour or $22.47 per year. The top 10% earn more than $167,000 while the bottom 10% earn less than $45,500. Business analysts’ salaries differ by state; the highest-paying locations are California ($135k), Washington ($132.5k), New York ($131k), and Massachusetts ($130k). The lowest-paying states are Utah ($61k), Idaho ($63k), Arkansas ($63k) and Mississippi ($64k).


In Canada, the average yearly income for a business analyst is $111,500. The top earners (top 10%) are making over $177,000 per year while the bottom earners (bottom 10%) are earning under $58,000.
