As of late, there has been an increasing and oddly rabid interest in one Grant Lockwood. His company, the Lockwood Foundation, is also growing at an alarming rate with many employees, some employees wondering if they’re getting into some sort of cult.

Who is Grant Lockwood?

Grant Lockwood is the founder and CEO of the Lockwood Foundation, a corporation that began as a small software development company then invested in what was originally thought to be failed nanotechnology. Instead of nanobots, they found the basis for work in fields like quantum computing and artificial intelligence.

More recently, other companies have taken up this technology quagmire and the Lockwood Foundation’s future in the tech field looks bright.

They are also researching alternate forms of energy generation after their success with quantum computing. This has led to a new form of eco-friendly power called ‘Zero Point Energy’ that hopes to help save our planet from global warming.

Here are some more information about Grant Lockwood in gaming world

1. Prey 2.

Prey 2 is a human/alien first person shooter that takes place in the future of an alternate reality. Just like the spiritual predecessor, Prey features several alien species fighting against each other and humans. 

It also features stealth elements, parkour and a “morality system” where a player’s actions will either grow in alignment to the karma spectrum or become more chaotic as they cause more deaths to enemies and innocents. 

The game was announced on February 8, 2011 as part of Bethesda Softworks’ line-up for E3 2011.

However, it was later delayed indefinitely after Arkane Studios had difficulties with the game’s development. It was formally cancelled on August 22, 2014.

2. Prey 3.

Prey 3 is a canceled stealth action game that was tentatively planned during the early stages of the development of Prey 2. 

The game was cancelled before being officially announced by Bethesda Softworks due to design and quality issues. It is unknown if the game’s story or level design had been finalized at the time of cancellation. 

In May 2017, Bethesda trademarked “Prey: Typhon Hunter”. However, this was later dropped on November 16, 2017.

3. Moon Crash.

Mooncrash is a DLC expansion pack for Prey developed by Human Head Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks in June 2016. It was later announced that the DLC would be available on all three platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. 

The expansion adds a new level, “Moon Crash”, which features the Typhon and a brand new, heavily mutated foe named The Moon. It also includes a new enemy faction comprised of mutators, including “Sammoth” and “Kraken”. 

On June 30, 2016 Bethesda Softworks announced that Mooncrash would be released for free as part of Prey’s Season Pass.

4. The Telepath Legacy.

Prey: The Telepath Legacy is a downloadable content expansion pack for Prey announced alongside the release of Mooncrash in June 2016. It was released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on July 26, 2016. 

“The Telepath Legacy” features a new playable character – Morgan Yu – who works at Talos I after the events of Prey 2 as well as new weapons and abilities. The DLC also includes new abilities like “Telekinesis” and “Photokinesis”. 

In November 2017, it was confirmed that “The Telepath Legacy” would be available for free to those who had purchased the Season Pass for Prey on all three platforms.

5. Typhon Hunter.

Typhon Hunter is a mode included in Prey’s multiplayer component, Prey: Typhon Hunter, which was released on March 27, 2017 as part of a free update that also added the Mooncrash DLC to all platforms. 

The game mode allows up to 4 players to compete against each other in an artificial simulation of the Prey universe with all the powers and abilities of Mimics and other enemies from single player. 

In this game mode, there are four different characters for players to choose from: Morgan Yu, Transtar Employee using a wrench; Human Core – using a pulse rifle; Operative – using a shotgun; and Vanguard – using a GLOO cannon. In the Typhon Hunter mode, players can also use stun devices and the GLOO Cannon.

6. Prey 2’s Arkane Studios.

Arkane Studios is a Danish video game publisher and developer that was founded in 2008 by former id Software employees, Raphael Colantonio and Andy Schatz and is known for the Dishonored series, the recent Prey game, as well as the Far Cry series of games. 

They also developed Deus Ex: Human Revolution. As of February 9, 2012, Arkane was acquired by ZeniMax Media.
