Jang Hoon is said to be one of the most talented actors in Korea. Born on December 16th, 1983, he first entered show business as a child actor and from there became known for his roles in various dramas and films. Known for being an all-around entertainer, SEO Jang Hoon has also participated in rap battles and even released a song with Korean rock band TRANG during their debut year!
Given his vast experience in the industry and penchant for musical diversification, it’s no wonder that he’s considered one of Korea’s most popular idol group members. He has been enlisted as a trainee for the starring roles of several musicals, including: Sang Doo’s Shaggy and The Flower Shop, and has appeared more than once in five musicals each year.
Although he’s already considered a veteran of K-pop and established his own successful solo career as an actor, his true talent lies not only in acting but also singing. Having taken up lessons since elementary school, Jang Hoon debuted as a singer under the band name “the Sound” with the song “If You Walk Past My Door”. He later released two albums as part of this group before leaving for Korea Drama School to hone his acting skills.
