If you’ve ever wanted to unlock The Copied Factory, this guide will show you how in Final Fantasy XIV! For more information, see the copyrights below. This article also contains information on Nier Automata Raids and how to unlock them. Hope this helps!
The Copied Factory is an unlockable dungeon in Final Fantasy XIV that unlocks at level 65 when you complete the main quest “The Greatest Warriors” in your Grand Company’s territory for that level (you also need to do one of the following quests: “Ghosts of War,” “Machinations of War,” or “Evening the Odds”). If you don’t have the time to do the side quests required, your best bet is to go do them all at once.
Once you have completed “The Greatest Warriors” quest for your Grand Company, go to your faction’s HQ (NPC) and talk to Reyner Lordan at level 65.
He will explain that the very top floor of the cliff and below it is an area he started mapping out but didn’t finish. He asks you to explore this new area and re-convey how long it took him.
Here some points are discussed about ffxiv manufactured coin–
1. What you need to know before you start leveling
The Copied Factory is essentially a “Tutorial Dungeon,” since it has new mechanics and has some fairly difficult mobs. The boss is not that hard but the mobs can be very challenging; I would recommend using a tanky/healer heavy DPS setup. It is recommended that this dungeon should be attempted by level 65 players.
2. Accessing the new area
You will first need to do a quest available at level 20 called “The Tools.” You can find the quest for The Tools in chapter 7 of the main scenario quest line, which your character automatically does because you are level 20. This quest will unlock the access to the area that is below The Copied Factory.
Once you have completed this step, head over to your Grand Company’s HQ. You will find a NPC named Reyner Lordan on level 65. Talk to him and he will explain how he started mapping out an area and how long it took him. He will ask you to retrace his steps and report back how long it took you.
3. Unlocking the dungeon
After you have completed “The Greatest Warriors” quest for your Grand Company, go to your faction’s HQ (NPC) and talk to Reyner Lordan at level 65. He will explain that the very top floor of the cliff and below it is an area he started mapping out but didn’t finish. He asks you to explore this new area and re-convey how long it took him.
Now that this area is unlocked, go inside and talk to Nier (he is hiding behind a rock). Nier is a scribe of the Gilgamesh empire and will ask you to gather some information on this new area.
The map that he is looking for is a very large map (bigger than 2 characters in size) and can only be obtained once per character. When you kill monsters, they might drop “Didactic Papers.” These papers are used to complete his map and to unlock the dungeon.
4. Quest and dungeon
Reyner will explain that the Copied Factory is a factory that uses the “Swiftstrike Oil” to make weapons (in the game they are called “swords”). Inside this factory, you will meet three bosses: a Big Momo boss, a White Tiger boss, and an Archer boss.
The last boss is different depending on your class; if you are a Warrior or Gladiator you will fight a Titan. If you are a worker like Artisan or Ascetic, you will fight with an AI controlled Titan. You must defeat all 3 bosses inside the factory in order to unlock the exit of The Copied Factory.
Now talk to Nier to collect your rewards. You will receive many crafting materials that can be used to make powerful gear as well as a material called “titanium alloy” that is used to craft the level 70 weapons.
5. How to unlock Nier Automata Raid
FFXIV 4.0 Stormblood introduced a new Summoner job in the allied nations, with an emphasis on imbuing summons with elemental power and manipulating their attributes.
The Summoner’s most powerful ability utilises the augments that can be obtained from the dungeons of Nier and Copied Factory, which unlike other dungeons in the game are not locked once you have completed them.
Nier Automata Raids are a new kind of raid in Final Fantasy XIV, with a mission that requires completion of both The Copied Factory and Nier’s chapters. Completing these two tasks will unlock access to an all-new dungeon called Nier Automata Raids.
